MISERICÓRDIA NO ANTIGO TESTAMENTO

Resumo


A misericórdia de Deus no Antigo Testamento revela-se basicamente em três modos diferentes. Há textos nos quais ela se manifesta na sua iniciativa livre e gratuita, transformando a situação de escravidão do povo de Israel em vida de libertação. Há outros nos quais a misericórdia de Deus substitui sua justa sentença punitiva e exterminadora. Há ainda outros que descrevem a ação punitiva de Deus, mas depois ele se arrepende e age com muita misericórdia. Essa misericórdia de Deus é o critério como as pessoas devem encarná-la e testemunhá-la nas suas relações sociais. Sua vivência cria relações fraternas e sororais de qualidade e um mundo quase paradisíaco.

Mercy In The Old Testament

 

Abstract: The mercy of God in the Old Testament reveals itself basically in three different ways. There are texts in which it manifests itself on its available and free initiative, transforming the situation of slavery of the people of Israel in life’s freedom. There are others in which the mercy of God replaces their just sentence terminator und punitive. There are still others that describe the punitive action of God, but after he repents and acts with much mercy. That God’s mercy is the criterion as people must incarnate her and bear witness to it in their social relations. Your experience creates fraternal and sororal relations of quality and a world almost paradise.
