ALFABETIZAÇÃO DIGITAL COMO INCLUSÃO SOCIAL: UM DIREITO HUMANO – NUPEN/ FAPAS

Resumo

Este trabalho, fruto de um Estudo de Caso, no Núcleo Palotino de Estudos do Envelhecimento da Faculdade Palotina de Santa Maria – RS/BR tem o objetivo de verificar como os alunos percebem a Alfabetização Digital como instrumento de Inclusão Social no contexto dos Direitos Humanos. Para sua efetivação, construiu-se um referencial teórico-prático, em ação coletiva com pessoas maiores de quarenta e cinco anos. Verificou-se que a iniciativa levou a valorização da Instituição e da comunidade onde o NUPEN está inserido, bem como o aumento da autoestima e a novas perspectivas de vida dos alunos; e que os Direitos Humanos fundamentais sugerem mudanças comportamentais estimuladas pela inclusão social, indispensáveis em ações Educativas como a Alfabetização Digital, sendo que o aprendizado se apresenta sem fronteiras e não determina uma faixa etária. O foco da reflexão centrou-se na necessidade do uso da informação midiática na cultura contemporânea. Neste cenário, concluiu-se que a população idosa possui um lugar de destaque na comunidade, pelos direitos e garantias que lhes são conferidos por lei, e pela inclusão social como um Direito Humano Fundamental.

Digital Literacy As Social Inclusion: A human Right - NUPEN / FAPAS

Abstract: This paper, product of a Case on Pallottine Center Ageing Studies at Palotina College of Santa Maria – RS/BR aims to verify how students perceive the Digital Literacy as Social Inclusion tool in the Human Rights context. To become operational it has put together a theoretical and practical approach in collective action with people over forty-five years old. It was found that the initiative has led to appreciation of the institution and the community where NUPEN is inserted, as well as increased self-esteem and new perspectives of life for students and that the Fundamental Human Rights suggest behavioral changes stimulated by social inclusion, necessary in Educational actions such as Digital Literacy, and that learning has no boundaries and does not determine an age group. The reflection focused on the need to use the media information in contemporary culture. In this setting, it was concluded that the elderly population has a prominent place in the community, the rights and guarantees conferred upon them by law, and social inclusion as a Fundamental Human Right.
