FINAL DA VIDA : O MORRER COM AUTONOMIA E DIGNIDADE

Resumo

Este artigo visa refletir sobre o final da vida, no contexto de uma cultura que tende a todo custo negar e esconder a morte. Morrer faz parte da natureza humana, por isso o final da vida deve ser visto e compreendido como algo natural. Na medida em que a morte for vista desta maneira a mesma é aceita com maturidade e não com temor propriamente dito. Neste contexto, é importante ressaltar que a pessoa no seu fim deve ser respeitada, principalmente a sua autonomia.

ABSTRACT

This article aims to reflect on the end of life, in the context of a culture that tends to deny and hide all costs death. Dying is part of human nature, so that the end of life should be seen and understood as something natural. To the extent that death is viewed in this way is accepted with the same maturity and not with fear itself. In this context, it is important that the person on your order must be respected, particularly their autonomy.
