QUESTÕES ÉTICAS RELACIONADAS À NANOTECNOLOGIA E A DIGINIDADE DA PESSOA HUMANA

Resumo

O presente artigo tem por finalidade analisar as questões éticas relacionadas à nanotecnologia e a dignidade da pessoa humana, em razão da possibilidade de existirem violações à referida dignidade, devido à falta de esclarecimentos relacionados aos eventuais riscos que podem advir do consumo dos bens produzidos e comercializados com o uso da nanotecnologia. O método utilizado foi o dedutivo, em conjunto com o hermenêutico, com a técnica de pesquisa bibliográfica. Constatou-se que a nanotecnologia e os produtos dela decorrentes estão inseridos na sociedade atual, existindo benefícios comprovados em diversas áreas; entretanto, os eventuais riscos decorrentes não são mencionados, o que caracteriza uma atuação antiética e que viola a dignidade da pessoa humana.

Ethical Issues Related Nanotechnology and the Human Person Dignity

Abstract: This article aims to analyze the ethical issues related to nanotechnology and human dignity, because of the possibility that there are violations of dignity, due to lack of clarification relating to any risks that may arise from the consumption of goods produced and traded with the use of nanotechnology. The research method was used deductive in conjunction with the interpretation, with the technical literature. It was found that nanotechnology and products resulting there from are included in today's society, there proven benefits in many areas, however, possible risks are not mentioned, which features a performance unethical and violates the dignity of the human person.
