O PAPEL DO PSICÓLOGO NA GARANTIA DE DIREITOS DA POPULAÇÃO INFANTOJUVENIL

Resumo

O artigo trata do papel do profissional psicólogo no contexto dos direitos das crianças e adolescentes. Seu objetivo foi de compreender a percepção dos profissionais psicólogos que atuam no atendimento à criança e adolescente quanto ao seu papel na garantia dos direitos da população infantojuvenil. Para isso, foi realizada uma pesquisa qualitativa, através de entrevistas semiestruturadas com psicólogos de diferentes serviços da rede de atendimento à população infantojuvenil. Participaram cinco psicólogos de três diferentes instituições. Os resultados encontrados indicam que esses profissionais têm conhecimento do estatuto de criança e do adolescente (ECA) e se reconhecem enquanto corresponsáveis pela garantia desses direitos. Além disso, entendem que essa garantia só pode ser efetivada através do trabalho interdisciplinar e em rede. No entanto, destacaram a necessidade de mais oportunidades de formação técnica para essa atuação e o déficit da rede de atendimento do município como fatores a serem superados.

The Role Of The Psychologist In Guaranteeing The Rights Of The Youth's Population

Abstract: The article addresses the role of the psychologist in the realization of the rights of children and adolescents. The purpose of this study was to understand the perception of psychologists who work in the care of children and adolescents regarding their role in guaranteeing the rights of the youth population. For this, a qualitative research was carried out, through semi-structured interviews with psychologists of different services of the network of assistance to the child and adolescent population. Five psychologists from three different institutions participated. The results indicate that these professionals are aware of the statute of children and adolescents (ECA) and recognize themselves as co-responsible for the rights guaranteed in this statute. In addition, they understand that the guarantee of rights can only be effected through interdisciplinary and networked work. However, they highlighted the need for more opportunities for technical training for action and the deficit of the service network of the municipality as factors to be overcome.
