Resumo

ABSTRACT

The present work approaches the question of moral conflicts or moral dilemmas in Philosophy, specially focusing on the contemporary discussion of the theme. More specifically, will be considered two central aspects of the discussion: the division between “soluble” and “insoluble” moral conflicts provided by Bernard Williams (1965), and the concept of “prima facie” duties, provided by Ross (2002). The approach of the mentioned concepts is of great relevance, and makes possible to conceive the own possibility of genuine moral conflicts, as well as the attempts of its resolution.
